Vertical Shower Seal - 8-10mm Glass, 45 Degree Fin 10-15mm

What this seal is

A clear vertical seal for shower and bath screens with 8–10mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section grips the edge of the glass with no additional adhesive, and the flexible fin — held at the correct 45° angle by a small rigid support — closes gaps of 10mm to 15mm so water stays inside the enclosure.

Seals like this are most commonly found along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and work just as well vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall.

Choose your length

Measure the edge of the glass you are sealing and pick the nearest length at or above it — 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm. If your measurement sits between two lengths, choose the longer one and trim it down, or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. A worn, discoloured or missing seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own, so it pushes straight on and can be removed later without leaving residue on the glass.

An angle that seals properly. The small rigid support keeps the fin at a constant 45°, so it presses consistently against the tray, bath or wall along the full length of the seal.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick and the gap you need to close is 10–15mm, then measure the edge you are sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal, clean the glass edge, trim the new seal to size and push the U-section onto the edge of the glass with the fin angled towards the surface you are sealing against.
