This 20mm black UHMWPE 1000 rod sample is ideal for testing machinability, wear performance and chemical resistance before committing to full production runs. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene offers excellent impact strength and a very low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for demanding engineering applications.

Supplied as a convenient sample length, this black UHMWPE 1000 rod is easy to machine using standard workshop tools and allows you to evaluate fit, finish and performance in your own environment. It is widely used for low-wear sliding components, guides and bearings in wet or abrasive conditions.
