Glass-Grip Screen Seal for 8-10mm Glass - Seals 1-4mm Gaps, Curved OK

What this seal is

A clear glass-grip seal for screens with thick 8–10mm glass that needs no frame channel at all — it grips straight onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive, and its fin closes small gaps of 1mm to 4mm. If your old seal simply pushed onto the glass rather than sliding into a channel, this is that type.

Because it is soft PVC throughout, it follows curved glass as easily as straight panels — a rare find among replacement seals. For thinner 4–6mm glass, see our other glass-grip seal.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn or missing edge seal lets water creep past the screen every shower. This fin closes gaps of 1–4mm and keeps it in the tray.

Fits curved screens. Being soft PVC end to end, it bends around curved quadrant and walk-in panels that rigid channel seals cannot follow.

No channel needed, no mess. It grips 8–10mm glass directly — no frame, no adhesive, and it cuts to size with ordinary scissors.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick and the gap you need to close is 1–4mm, then measure the edge of the panel.

2. Choose. Pick 900mm or 2000mm — whichever covers your panel edge — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Pull the old seal off and clean the glass edge, cut the new seal to width with scissors, then push it onto the glass edge along its full length. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
