Bifold Shower Seal - 5mm T-Head, 28mm Tall, Seals 23-28mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear bifold and channel seal with a 5mm T-head and a tall 28mm body — the tallest seal in our 5mm T-head family — sealing very large gaps of 23mm to 28mm between the bottom of the door and the tray. A gap this size usually means a door was hung high or a tray was replaced with a lower one.

The T-head simply slots into the standard 5mm channel in your door frame — no adhesive required — and the soft flexible PVC cuts to length with ordinary scissors.

Which height do I need?

Measure the gap between the bottom of the door and the tray. This 28mm-tall profile seals 23–28mm gaps — measure carefully, because for 17–22mm or 19–24mm gaps we stock better-fitting heights in the same family. Also check your channel slot measures 5mm (it may be very slightly narrower).

Why fit this seal

Closes the gap standard seals cannot. Most channel seals top out well below 23mm — this 28mm body bridges an unusually large door-to-tray gap and stops water sheeting out onto the floor.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure your door-to-tray gap (23–28mm for this profile), the width of the door and the channel slot (5mm).

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length at or above your door width, or add the custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal out and clean the channel, cut the new seal to the door's width, then feed the T-head in and slide it across until seated.
