Push-In Bifold Shower Seal for 3-5mm Recess - Clear

What this seal is

A clear soft-PVC seal for shower door frames with a narrow open recess rather than a T-slot. The head presses into recesses 3mm to 5mm wide and grips on its own — no adhesive, no tools — making it the straightforward replacement when your frame has a plain groove instead of a channel with lips.

It fits the bottom rail of a bifold or folding door as well as the vertical uprights. This is our narrowest push-in profile — we also stock versions for 7–9mm and 9–11mm recesses if your groove measures wider.

How to check it fits your door

Measure the open groove in your frame: if it is 3mm, 4mm or 5mm wide, this seal presses in and holds. Hold the end of your old seal against the cutaway in the first photo to compare profiles — if the shape matches, this is your seal. Groove wider than 5mm? Choose our 7–9mm or 9–11mm version instead.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks from the bottom of the door. A hardened or missing seal lets water track out under a bifold door every shower. A fresh seal closes the gap and protects flooring and skirting from water damage.

Push-fit, no mess. The head presses straight into the existing recess — no adhesive, no drilling — and pulls out again just as easily when it's next due a change.

Cuts with household scissors. The soft PVC trims cleanly to the exact width of your door — no saws or specialist tools.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your recess is 3–5mm wide and measure the length of the run you are sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length — whichever is at or above your measurement — or have us cut it for you.

3. Fit. Pull the old seal from the recess, clean out any residue, cut the new seal to length and press the head into the recess along the full run.
