What this seal is

A clear channel seal for bifold shower doors with a 5mm T-shaped head and an overall height of 8mm, sealing gaps of 3–8mm. The T-head slots into the aluminium or plastic channel on the door — no adhesive — and the soft flexible blade closes the gap so water stays inside the enclosure.

This is Profile B: a close cousin of our other 8mm-high, 5mm-head profile, which covers the same 3–8mm gaps with a differently shaped blade. The blade shape is the tell — compare the cutaway photo with the end of your old seal before ordering.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks at the door edge. A hardened, split or shrunken blade is why water finds its way past a bifold door — a fresh seal closes the 3–8mm gap and keeps the water in the enclosure.

No adhesive, no mess. The T-head slots into your existing channel — no glue, no residue, and it slides out again just as easily when it's next due a change.

Soft blade, easy door action. The flexible PVC compresses to the gap without dragging, so the door keeps folding freely.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check the channel slot takes a 5mm T-head, measure the gap you need to close (3–8mm) and the length of your old seal — and match the blade shape against the cutaway photo.

2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm — whichever is at or above the length you need — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal out, clean the channel, cut the new seal to length and feed the T-head along the channel until it sits flush.
