Glass-to-Glass Seal for 8-10mm Glass - Spans Gaps up to 40mm

What this seal is

A clear glass-to-glass seal for shower screens with 8mm, 9mm or 10mm glass — the widest-spanning blade profile we stock. The rigid clear-PVC U-section pushes straight onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive, screws or drilling, and the extra-long flexible blade reaches across gaps of up to 40mm to the neighbouring pane, closing the join and keeping water inside the enclosure.

It fits vertically between two panes of straight glass. If your gap measures 24mm or less, our shorter-bladed version gives a neater finish — this is the profile to choose when the gap is too wide for a standard seal.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks between panes. A missing or shrunken glass-to-glass seal lets water stream through the join every time you shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

Spans gaps other seals cannot. The extra-long blade reaches across joins of up to 40mm, so even a wide panel gap gets a clean, continuous seal.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it pushes straight on and comes off again without leaving residue on the glass.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, measure the height of the panel, and measure the gap to the neighbouring pane (up to 40mm).

2. Choose. Pick the 900mm or 2000mm length at or above your panel height, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal and clean the glass edge, trim the new seal to panel height, then push it onto the glass from below, pressing it on section by section rather than sliding it along.
