Slide-Over Bifold Seal for T-Ridge Frames - Profile 2, Clear

What this seal is

A slide-over seal for shower doors whose frame has a raised T-shaped ridge instead of a slot. The rigid clear-PVC channel caps over the ridge — no adhesive required — while the soft PVC blade below seals down to the tray or adjacent surface.

This is our second slide-over profile: the channel and blade shape differ from Profile 1, so compare your frame's ridge and the end of your old seal against the cutaway photos before ordering. It can be used on horizontal bottom rails or vertical uprights.

Why fit this seal

Made for ridge-type frames. If your frame has a rib standing proud of the surface rather than a slot, ordinary channel seals won't fit — this profile caps straight over the ridge.

Stops leaks along the frame. A cracked or shrunken blade lets water past the bottom rail every shower — a fresh seal closes the gap to the tray and protects your floor.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips the ridge by itself, so it presses on cleanly and can be replaced again in future.

Nearly invisible once fitted. The clear PVC keeps the repair discreet against glass and frame.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your frame has a raised T-shaped ridge and measure the length of the run; compare the ridge and your old seal's end with the cutaway photos.

2. Choose. Pick the 900mm or 2000mm length at or above your run; trim with secateurs or add our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal off the ridge, clean the ridge, cut the new seal to length, then align the channel and press it on firmly along the run.
