Bifold Shower Seal - 4.5mm T-Head, 16mm Tall, Seals 11-16mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear bifold and channel seal with a slim 4.5mm T-head and a 16mm body, sealing gaps of 11mm to 16mm — the taller sibling of our 13mm-high 4.5mm profile. The T-head simply slots into the 4.5mm channel in your door frame — no adhesive required — and the soft flexible PVC cuts to length with ordinary scissors.

It fits horizontally under the bottom rail of a bifold or channel-fitted door, or vertically between the glass and the wall, closing the gap that lets water escape.

Which height do I need?

Measure the gap you need to close. This 16mm-tall profile seals 11–16mm gaps; our other 4.5mm T-head profile is 13mm tall and covers 8–13mm gaps. Also check your channel slot measures 4.5mm. If your gap sits between sizes, choose the taller profile.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn or missing channel seal lets water sheet out under the door every time you shower — a fresh seal closes the 11–16mm gap and keeps flooring, skirting and plaster dry.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the gap you need to close (11–16mm for this profile), the width or height of the edge, and the channel slot (4.5mm).

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length at or above your measurement, or add the custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal out and wipe the channel clean, trim the new seal to size, then feed the T-head into the channel and slide it along until flush.
