Glass-to-Frame Cushion Seal - 9mm Wide, Clear Push-Fit

What this seal is

A clear soft-PVC cushion seal, 9mm wide, that pushes into the gap between the glass pane and the metal frame of a bifold door or bath screen. It supports the glass, stops it rattling in the frame and seals the joint so water can't weep through.

Use it horizontally along the bottom rail or vertically on the upright — it simply presses into the gap with no adhesive or tools, and can be eased back out whenever it needs replacing.

Which width do I need?

Measure the gap between the glass and the frame — a gap of around 9mm suits this profile. We stock several glass-to-frame widths, so if yours measures differently, compare your old seal's end profile with the cutaway in the first photo or ask us for a match.

Why fit this seal

Stops rattle and leaks in one go. A perished cushion seal leaves the glass loose in its frame — noisy every time the door moves, and an easy path for water. A fresh seal firms the pane up and closes the joint.

Protects the glass edge. The soft PVC cushions the pane against the metal frame, keeping glass and frame from grinding against each other.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the gap between glass and frame (around 9mm suits this profile) and the length of the run you're sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length and cut it to size with scissors.

3. Fit. Ease the old seal out from between glass and frame, clean both surfaces, then press the new seal evenly into the gap along the full run.
