Push-In Bifold Seal - 3mm Barb, 14mm Curved Skirt

What this seal is

A clear soft-PVC seal that pushes into a slot or gap in a bifold shower door channel or frame and covers it. The 3mm arrowhead barb is pressed down into the opening and grips inside it — no adhesive — while the 14mm curved skirt spreads out across the surface either side, spanning the opening and shedding water away from it.

It sits low: the whole profile stands just 5mm proud of the frame. That is what makes it useful — it closes off an open channel without leaving a lip for water to sit behind or a foot to catch on.

Will it fit my frame?

Measure the opening you need to cover. The curved skirt spans up to 14mm, so it suits a slot or gap up to that width. Wider than 14mm and the skirt will not reach both sides.

Measure the slot itself. The barb is 3mm across at its widest and 3mm deep, on a 1.5mm stem. It needs a slot it can compress into and spring back against — roughly 1.5mm to 3mm wide.

Check what you actually need. This is a gap-covering wiper, not a drop seal. If you are trying to close a vertical gap between the bottom of a door and the tray, you want a bladed bifold seal instead — send us your measurements and we will point you to the right one.

Why fit this seal

Closes off an open channel. An exposed slot in a door frame collects water, limescale and grime. The skirt covers it so water runs across instead of sitting in it.

Grips without adhesive. The arrowhead barb compresses going in and springs open underneath, so it holds itself in place and pulls back out cleanly if you ever need to change it.

Low and unobtrusive. At 5mm tall the profile sits almost flush, so there is no raised edge to trap water behind or catch underfoot.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the width of the opening you are covering (up to 14mm) and the width of the slot the barb goes into (roughly 1.5–3mm), then measure the run you need to cover.

2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm at or above that run — or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

3. Fit. Pull out the old seal and wipe the channel clean. Cut the new seal to length with scissors, start the barb into the slot at one end and press it down along the full run until the skirt sits flat both sides.
