Glass-to-Frame Cushion Seal for Bifold Doors - 9mm Tee, Clear

What this seal is

A clear soft-PVC cushion seal with a 9mm-wide tee that pushes into the gap between a pane of glass and the metal frame of a bifold shower door. It cushions the glass in the frame, stops rattle, and closes the glass-to-frame gap against water.

This is a different fitting style from our channel-slot seals: instead of sliding into a slot, the tee wedges between the glass and the frame. It can be used on the bottom horizontal rail or vertically on a glass upright, and fits by hand with no adhesive or tools.

Why fit this seal

Stops rattle and leaks in one. When the original glass-to-frame seal shrinks or falls out, the pane rattles in its frame and water finds the gap. This tee cushions the glass and seals the joint at the same time.

No adhesive, no mess. The tee wedges in by hand and holds itself in place — nothing to glue, and it eases back out cleanly when it's next due a replacement.

Easy to cut at home. The soft PVC cuts cleanly with a good pair of scissors, so trimming to your exact rail or upright length takes seconds.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the glass-to-frame gap and the length of the run you need to seal. Comparing the cutaway photo with the end of your old seal is a quick way to confirm the profile.

2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm — whichever is at or above your measurement — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Ease the old seal out from between the glass and frame, clean both surfaces, cut the new seal to length, then press the tee evenly into the gap along the full run, starting at one end.
