Bath Screen Seal to Fit Victorian Plumbing Clarity & Haro Bi-Folds - 5.5mm T-Head
Price shown updates with the option you pick.
Key information
What colour is this seal?
Clear, slightly translucent.
Where is this seal normally used?
Horizontally, in the channel along the bottom of a folding bath or shower screen. Customers most often buy it as the replacement for Victorian Plumbing bi-folding screens, the Clarity and Haro in particular.
Is this seal soft or rigid?
Soft throughout. It is a flexible PVC, similar in feel to silicone or rubber, with no rigid section.
Will it fit my screen?
Measure the T-head on your old seal. The crown that sits inside the channel is 5.5mm wide and 1mm thick, on a 1mm stem, and the seal hangs 14mm overall with a 7mm width. If your channel takes a 5.5mm head and you have 14mm to bridge, this profile slides straight in.
Can this seal be cut to the length I need?
Yes. The material is soft enough to cut cleanly with a good pair of scissors, or add the Custom Cut option and it arrives trimmed to size.
Should I order a sample first?
Yes, we would always recommend it — particularly on this profile. A 25mm sample is £4.99 and lets you hold the T-head against your own channel before committing to a full length, which avoids return costs if it is not the right one.
Do your prices include VAT and delivery?
Yes. Every price shown includes VAT and free delivery to the UK mainland.
What this seal is
A clear soft-PVC channel seal for bi-folding bath and shower screens. The 5.5mm T-head slots into the channel along the bottom of the folding screen — no adhesive at all — and the soft skirt and hollow bulb below it seal down onto the bath rim, keeping shower water in the bath where it belongs.
A note on the Victorian Plumbing fit. This profile is widely reported by customers to be the correct replacement for the Clarity and Haro bi-folding screens. That is based on customer feedback rather than a manufacturer specification, so please check the dimensions below against your old seal before ordering — or take the sample first.
Will it fit my screen?
Measure the T-head on your old seal. The crown that sits inside the channel is 5.5mm wide and 1mm thick, on a 1mm stem. If your channel takes a 5.5mm head, this profile slides straight in.
Check the drop. The seal hangs 14mm from the top of the T-head to the bottom of the bulb, and is 7mm wide overall. That is the height available to bridge the gap between the screen and the bath rim — if your gap is much larger than that, you need a deeper profile and we can point you to one.
Look at the shape, not just the size. Below the T-head there is a second 7mm-wide flange, then a soft 6mm skirt leg on one side and a 3mm hollow bulb on the other. Hold your old seal end-on and compare it with the cross-section in the product images.

Why fit this seal
Stops leaks over the bath edge. Once the bulb has gone hard or the skirt has split, water runs off the screen and straight onto the bathroom floor. A fresh seal closes the gap to the bath rim again.
Two sealing surfaces, not one. The soft skirt leg and the hollow bulb work together, so the seal keeps contact with the bath rim even where the screen sits slightly higher along its run.
No-mess fitting. No adhesive and no tools beyond scissors: the old seal slides out, the new one slides in, and you can shower the same day.
UK stock, dispatched same day. Held in stock here in the UK and dispatched the same working day on orders placed before 2pm.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Measure your screen along the bottom channel, and check your old seal's T-head against the 5.5mm profile above.
2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm to cover your screen width — or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.
3. Fit. Slide the old seal out and wipe the channel clean. Cut the new seal to width with scissors, then feed the T-head in from one end and slide it along until it runs the full width.
Not sure it fits?
Order the 25mm sample first, or email a photo of your old seal's end profile or your measurements to sales@industrial-polymers.co.uk and our UK team will check it against our range and confirm the right profile before you order — usually the same working day.
