Glass-to-Frame Bifold Screen Seal - Clear, 1000mm & 2000mm

What this seal is

A clear soft-PVC seal that slots down the gap between the glass pane and the frame of a bifold screen or shower door. It supports the glass, protects it from knocking against the metal, and keeps water out of the joint — curing the rattles and drips that appear when the original glazing seal hardens or falls out.

It simply presses into the glass-to-frame gap with no adhesive, and can be used horizontally along the bottom rail or vertically between the glass and the frame uprights.

Choose your length

Available in 1000mm or 2000mm lengths. Measure the run of frame you need to reseal and pick the length at or above it — the soft PVC cuts easily with scissors, or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops water tracking through the frame. A perished glazing seal lets water creep into the joint between glass and metal and out onto the floor — a fresh seal closes the route off.

Protects the glass. The soft PVC cushions the pane inside the frame, stopping it knocking and rattling against the metal every time the door folds.

No adhesive, no mess. It presses into the existing gap and holds itself in place — nothing to glue, cure or clean up.

Easy like-for-like replacement. Pull the old seal out, press the new one in — a few minutes' work with a pair of scissors is all it takes.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the gap between your glass and the inside of the frame, and the length of the run you need to reseal.

2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm — whichever is at or above your measurement — and compare your old seal with the profile cutaway in the first photo.

3. Fit. Ease the old seal out and clean the glass and frame edges, cut the new seal to length, then press it evenly into the gap along the full run, starting from one end.
