Bifold Shower Seal - 5mm T-Head, 8mm Tall, Seals 3-8mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear soft-PVC channel seal for bifold shower doors and bath screens. The 5mm T-head slots into the channel in the door frame, and the compact 8mm-tall body closes gaps between 3mm and 8mm — along the bottom rail, or vertically where a glass upright meets the tiles or wall.

No adhesive is needed: the T-head is held by the channel itself, and slides out again whenever the seal needs replacing. Prefer the same T size in white? We stock a white 5mm T-head seal too.

Check your size, then choose a length

We stock several 5mm T-head profiles that differ in height, so match your old seal first: frame slot around 5mm, gap to close 3–8mm. Then pick a 1000mm or 2000mm length (custom cut options available) at or just above your door width.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks under the door. A hardened, shrunken or split channel seal is the usual reason a bifold door drips onto the bathroom floor. A fresh seal closes the 3–8mm gap and protects flooring and skirting.

No adhesive, no mess. The T-head simply slides into the existing channel — and slides out again when it eventually needs replacing.

Barely visible once fitted. The clear PVC blends into the frame line instead of drawing the eye.

Cuts with scissors. Soft flexible PVC trims to an exact fit at home in seconds.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check the slot in your channel is around 5mm wide and the gap you need to close is between 3mm and 8mm.

2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm — whichever is at or above your door width — or add the custom cut option.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal, clean the channel thoroughly, trim the new seal to width, then feed the T-head in at one end and slide it along until flush.
