Shower Door Brush Seal 5mm x 6mm for Bifold & Channel Doors

What this seal is

A brush seal for bifold and channel shower doors: the 5mm T-shaped backing slides into the channel in your door frame and a dense 6mm-deep synthetic bristle pile does the sealing. No adhesive, no tools — the old seal slides out and this slides in.

Brush seals shine where blade seals struggle. The bristles glide silently as a bifold door folds and unfolds — no squeak, no drag — and they conform to slightly uneven trays and worn frames that a solid blade would bridge or catch on.

Why fit this seal

Seals without sticking. On a bifold door a solid blade can drag, squeak and eventually tear. Bristles sweep the gap closed while letting the door fold freely and silently.

Copes with uneven surfaces. Thousands of individual bristles follow small dips and ridges in trays and worn frames, keeping contact where a rigid blade would leave gaps.

No adhesive, no mess. The T backing grips the channel on its own and slides straight back out when it is eventually time to replace it.

Simple like-for-like replacement. If your old brush seal has flattened or shed bristles, this restores the seal in minutes with no changes to the door.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check the channel slot is around 5mm wide and the gap to fill is around 6mm — bristles seal best just touching the surface below.

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length to suit your door. If your measurements differ, we stock this brush in nine other size combinations.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal out of the channel and clean it, cut the new backing to length with sturdy scissors or snips, then slide the T backing along the channel until seated.
