Shower Door Brush Seal 6mm x 8mm for Bifold & Channel Doors

What this seal is

A brush seal for bifold and channel shower doors, with a 6mm T-shaped backing that slides into the door channel and an 8mm pile of dense synthetic bristles below. Brush seals earn their keep on folding doors — no squeal, no drag, and bristles that flex over tray lips and uneven surfaces where a solid blade would catch.

The rigid backing strip needs no adhesive: it simply slides into the existing channel, and the brush closes the gap beneath the door.

Why fit this seal

Made for moving doors. Bristles sweep over tray lips, ridges and slightly uneven surfaces as the door folds — where a solid blade would drag, catch or squeal.

Closes the gap under the door. The 8mm pile fills the space beneath the bottom rail, cutting down splash-out onto the bathroom floor.

No-mess fitting. The T backing slides along the existing channel — no adhesive, no tools, no drying time.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check the channel slot suits the 6mm backing and the gap below the door is around 8mm. Measure the width of the door.

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length — whichever is at or above your door width.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal and clean the channel, cut the backing strip to your door’s width, then slide the T backing along the channel until seated.
