Shower Door Brush Seal 7mm x 12mm for Bifold & Channel Doors

What this seal is

The largest brush seal we stock: a 7mm T backing carrying a deep 12mm bristle pile, made for bifold and channel shower doors with wide channels and big gaps. The dense synthetic bristles span the distance down to the tray while the door keeps folding freely and quietly — where any blade seal this tall would buckle and drag.

The rigid backing strip simply slides into the existing channel in the door frame — no adhesive needed.

Which brush depth do I need?

This 12mm pile suits gaps of around 12mm. For smaller gaps, the same 7mm backing is available with 6mm, 8mm or 10mm piles. Measure the gap between the bottom of the door and the tray, then pick the pile that spans it.

Why fit this seal

Seals gaps blade seals cannot. At 12mm of pile, this brush closes the kind of gap that would leave a rigid blade seal buckling, dragging or leaking.

The door keeps moving freely. Bristles flex with every fold and slide, so the door stays quiet and easy to operate — no snagging, no squeaking.

No adhesive, no mess. The T backing slides into the existing channel and slides out again when it eventually needs replacing.

Simple to trim. Cut the backing strip to your door width at home for a perfect fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your channel slot suits the 7mm backing and measure the gap down to the tray — around 12mm for this pile.

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length, whichever is at or above your door width.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal, clean the channel, cut the backing strip to length, then slide the T backing along the channel until seated.
