Silver acrylic mirror sheet in 3mm and 6mm, supplied as a full 2440mm x 1220mm sheet.

This silver acrylic mirror (often referred to as Perspex mirror) is the highest commercial grade, with an impact strength around 17 times that of glass and a tough protective back-coating. It is about half the weight of a glass mirror, far less likely to shatter, and can be cut, drilled and machined with standard acrylic tooling. Supplied with a protective film on the mirrored face.

• Reflective on one side only; the reverse carries a grey protective coating

Q: Which thickness should I choose?
A: 3mm suits smaller panels and mirrors bonded to a flat backing. Choose 6mm for large panels, gym or wall mirrors, where the extra rigidity reduces distortion.

Q: Can I order a custom size?

Q: Will the reflection be distorted?
A: Acrylic mirror is less rigid than glass, so mount it on a flat, fully supported backing. Fix with an acrylic mirror adhesive or mirror screws, never with solvent-based adhesives.

Q: Is it suitable for outdoor use?
A: No. This mirror is intended for interior applications only.

Q: How do I clean it?
A: Use a soft microfibre cloth with warm soapy water or a cleaner made for acrylic. Do not use solvents, ammonia or abrasive pads.
