Frame Seal for 8mm Glass - Glass to Frame Strip, 900/2m
Price shown updates with the option you pick.
What this seal is
A clear frame seal for 8mm glass, made from soft flexible PVC similar to silicone or rubber. It wraps around the edge of the glass before the panel is inserted into your aluminium frame, supporting the glass in the frame and protecting it from any damage the metal could cause.
If the glass in your framed screen or door has started to rattle, shift or squeak — or the original gasket has perished and water is finding its way through the frame — this is the strip that puts things right.
Choose your length
This seal comes in 900mm or 2000mm lengths. Pick the length at or above the edge you're sealing — the soft material cuts down easily at home with a good pair of scissors, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal
Protects your glass. A soft cushion between glass and aluminium stops the frame chipping, cracking or grinding against the panel edge every time the door moves.
Supports the panel. The gasket takes up the play between glass and frame, so the panel sits firmly without rattles or movement.
Simple push-in replacement. Remove the old seal from the gap between your glass and the frame, push the new one in, and the job is done — no adhesive needed.
Cuts with scissors. The soft PVC trims to length in seconds, so getting a neat end-to-end fit couldn't be easier.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 8mm thick and measure the frame edge you're re-sealing.
2. Choose. Pick the 900mm or 2000mm length at or above your measurement.
3. Fit. Remove the old seal from the gap between the glass and the frame, trim the new seal to length with scissors, and push it into the gap. Done — no adhesive, no drying time.
