Shower Frame Seal - Glass to Frame Packing Strip, 1m or 2m

What this seal is

A clear frame seal made from soft, flexible PVC — similar in feel to silicone or rubber. It pushes into the gap between a pane of glass and the metal frame of your shower enclosure or bath screen, where it does two jobs at once: it supports the glass snugly in the frame, and it protects the glass from damage the aluminium frame could otherwise cause.

These seals are commonly found along the bottom horizontal section of a bath screen or shower door, and can also be used vertically on the upright of the glass to create a seal between the glass and the tiles or wall.

Why fit this seal

Steadies the glass, stops the leaks. A perished or missing frame seal lets the glass move in the frame and water track through the joint — a fresh seal closes the gap and holds the pane firmly.

Protects your glass. The soft PVC cushions the glass against the metal frame, guarding the edge from damage the aluminium could cause.

No-mess fitting. It simply pushes into the existing gap — no adhesive, no tools, and it can be replaced again just as easily next time.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the length of the frame section where the seal sits between glass and frame.

2. Choose. Pick the 1000mm or 2000mm length at or above your measurement, or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Pull the old seal out of the gap between the glass and the frame, trim the new seal to length with scissors, then push it firmly into the gap.
