Industrial Machinery Enamel – Durable Gloss Metal Paint

A hard-wearing, oil-based machinery enamel for restoring and protecting properly prepared industrial equipment and metalwork. The enamel dries to a smooth gloss that improves cleanability while helping painted surfaces resist routine moisture, corrosion, oil, dirt and workshop wear.

Surface assessment and preparation

Inspect the equipment before coating. Paint cannot correct damaged components, active leaks or unsafe corrosion. Isolate machinery in accordance with site procedures, then remove oil, grease, dirt, rust and loose coating. Abrade sound glossy paint to create a key and use a compatible primer where the substrate or existing coating system requires one. The surface must be clean and dry before enamel is applied.

Application guidance

Mix thoroughly to achieve a uniform colour and consistency. Apply controlled, even coats and avoid heavy build around fasteners, guards, labels, vents and moving parts. Do not coat functional contact faces, lubrication points or safety-critical components unless the equipment specification permits it. Allow adequate drying and curing before reassembly or return to service.

Coverage and colour planning

Plan from the approximate 8 m²/L coverage figure, allowing for profile, overspray, complex geometry and the required number of coats. Standard shades and supported mixed colours are available. Confirm the exact RAL, British Standard or other supported colour reference before ordering a mixed-colour option.

Use and safety

Drying varies with temperature, humidity, ventilation and film thickness. Follow the equipment maintenance procedure together with the current product label and safety information. Provide suitable ventilation, wear appropriate personal protective equipment and keep the container securely closed when not in use.
