Black Magnetic Seals - 4-6mm Glass, 180 Degree, 20mm

What this seal is

A pair of black magnetic closing seals for shower doors with 4–6mm glass. Each rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive needed, and the built-in black magnetic strips pull the doors together and hold them shut while you shower — yet still release easily when you’re finished.

These seals are fitted vertically, usually on quadrant enclosures, though some bath screens and other doors use them too. They meet at 180°, and the black finish matches the rest of a black-framed enclosure.

Will they suit my door?

On sliding doors, these seals are suitable as long as the gap between the doors is no greater than 20mm when closed. On hinged or pivoting doors the gap needs to be exactly 20mm — otherwise the two magnetic strips won’t line up and the seals may not close as intended. If in doubt, measure the closed gap before you order.

Why fit these seals

Holds the door properly shut. The magnetic strips snap the doors together as they close, so the enclosure stays sealed while you shower instead of drifting open and letting water out.

Matches a black enclosure. Both the PVC and the magnetic strip are black, so replacement seals blend in with black-framed and matt-black hardware rather than standing out in white or clear.

No adhesive, no mess. Each U-section grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it pushes straight onto the door edge and can be removed without leaving residue.

Cut to fit at home. Order 2000mm or 2500mm and trim the pair down to your door height, or use our custom cutting service and they arrive ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the height of each door edge, and measure the gap between the doors when closed.

2. Choose. Pick 2000mm or 2500mm — whichever is at or above your door height.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push one seal onto each door edge so the magnetic strips face each other and meet squarely when the door closes.
