Black Magnetic Seals - 4-6mm Glass, 90 or 180, Spans 23mm

What this seal is

A pair of black magnetic shower screen seals for 4–6mm glass. Each rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive, and the built-in black magnetic strips pull the door closed and hold it shut while you shower — yet the door still opens with an easy pull.

They fit vertically on the closing edges of the door, most commonly on quadrant enclosures, though many bath screens and other doors use them too. The black finish matches the rest of a dark-framed enclosure.

Check your angle and gap

The pair can meet at 90° or 180°. At 180° with sliding doors, they suit a gap of up to 23mm when the doors are closed. At 180° with hinged or pivoting doors, the gap needs to be exactly 23mm — otherwise the two magnetic strips will not line up and the seals may not close as intended.

Why fit this seal

A door that closes itself. The magnetic strips snap the door shut and hold it sealed while you shower — no more nudging the door closed behind you.

Made for black enclosures. Both the seal and the magnetic strip are black, so nothing breaks up the look of a dark-framed door.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-sections grip 4–6mm glass on their own and can be removed without residue.

Trim to fit at home. Both 2000mm and 2500mm pairs cut down easily to your door height.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure your door height, and check the closing angle and gap against the guidance above.

2. Choose. Pick the 2000mm or 2500mm pair — whichever is at or above your door height — or add the custom cut option.

3. Fit. Trim to height if needed, then push a seal onto each closing edge so the magnetic strips face each other and meet when the door closes.
