Polypropylene Homopolymer Natural Sheet for Chemical Tanks (Pack of 12) 1mm to 12mm thick

This Polypropylene Homopolymer sheet is lightweight and food compliant, ideal for various applications including chemical tanks and medical equipment.

Material Properties

Polypropylene Homopolymer (PPH) is a lightweight material with a specific gravity of 0.91. It offers enhanced chemical resistance and stiffness, along with a higher working temperature range compared to other grades. The material is food compliant and retains low water absorption.

Key Features

PPH exhibits excellent weldability and high corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications. It maintains high rigidity even at elevated temperatures.

Advantages and Disadvantages

The primary advantage of Polypropylene Sheet is its excellent acid and chemical resistance, as well as its affordability. However, it can be challenging to machine due to its low melting point, and bonding may require specialized processes.

Applications

Common applications for Polypropylene Sheet include chemical tanks, water applications, medical equipment, and equipment construction. It is also used for industrial chopping boards and certain cladding applications.
