Shower Screen Seal - 3-4mm Glass, Seals 1-6mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear seal for shower and bath screens with thinner 3mm or 4mm glass, closing gaps of 1mm to 6mm. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass and grips comfortably with no additional adhesive, while the blade closes the small gap between the glass and the tray, bath or wall.

It is most often fitted horizontally along the bottom of a bath screen or shower door, and can also be used vertically on the upright edge of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall.

Available in 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm and 2000mm lengths. Pick the length at or above the edge you are sealing and cut it down at home, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Made for thinner glass. Most shower seals are sized for 4–6mm panels and sit loose on 3mm glass — this U-section is made to grip 3–4mm glass properly.

Stops leaks at small gaps. Even a 1–6mm gap lets a surprising amount of water onto the floor over time; sealing it protects flooring, skirting and plaster.

No adhesive, no mess. The rigid U-channel grips the glass on its own — it slides straight on and comes off without leaving residue.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it for an exact fit, or let us cut it for you.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 3mm or 4mm thick and confirm the gap you need to close is between 1mm and 6mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your edge measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-channel onto the edge of the glass with the blade facing the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
