Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Seals 9-14mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear replacement seal for shower doors with 4–6mm glass, closing gaps of 9mm to 14mm between the glass and the frame, tiles or wall. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass and grips comfortably on its own — no adhesive needed.

It’s most commonly fitted on the vertical section of a shower door, and previous customers have told us it fits Koralle/Sphinx VarioPlus enclosures — though it may well suit other manufacturers’ screens and doors with the same profile. It’s designed for straight glass only.

Why fit this seal

Closes a wide gap neatly. A 9–14mm gap at the edge of a door is too much for a standard wipe seal — this profile is made for it, keeping spray inside the enclosure and off the bathroom floor.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it slides straight onto the edge and comes off again without leaving residue.

A known VarioPlus match. If you have a Koralle/Sphinx VarioPlus enclosure with a tired vertical seal, customers before you have used exactly this profile as the replacement.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the gap you need to close (9–14mm), and measure the edge of the glass you’re sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass so the seal faces the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
