Shower Screen Seal - 10-12mm Glass, Plain U-Channel Trim

What this seal is

A clear framing seal for thick 10–12mm glass. The high-quality rigid PVC U-section simply pushes onto the edge of the glass with no additional adhesive. Unlike our finned seals, this profile has no fin — its job is to frame and protect the edge of the glass rather than bridge a gap, cushioning the panel against the tray, floor, tiles or wall.

It is most often found on the bottom edge of fixed-panel screens to protect the glass from the tray or floor, and can also be used vertically on the upright of the glass. To make the junction watertight, apply silicone sealant along the outside of the seal. It is a straight seal, designed for straight glass only.

Choose your length

Available in 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm lengths. Measure the edge of glass you need to cover and pick the nearest length at or above it — the seal is easily cut down to size at home, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Protects thick glass edges. The U-channel cushions a heavy 10–12mm fixed panel where it meets the tray, floor or wall, protecting the glass edge from chips and knocks.

Neat framed finish. The clear profile gives the bottom or upright edge of a fixed panel a clean, finished look while staying barely visible on the glass.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips the glass on its own — just push it on. Add a bead of silicone along the outside when you want the junction watertight.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it for a perfect edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 10–12mm thick and measure the length of the edge you want to frame.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — or add custom cutting and we'll trim it for you.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, push the seal onto the edge of the glass starting at one end and work your way along, then run silicone sealant along the outside if you need the junction watertight.
