I-Join Seal for 12mm Glass - Self-Adhesive 180 Degree Joint

What this seal is

A clear self-adhesive I-join seal for joining two panels of 12mm glass in line at 180° — the neat, clean alternative to a messy silicone joint on internal glass partitions. The rigid PVC section sits between the two panes and bonds to both.

Very high bond 3M VHB tape comes pre-applied to both sides, so there is no need for any additional adhesive: peel the red liners, press the panels to the seal, and the joint is made.

Why fit this seal

Cleaner than silicone. A silicone joint between glass partitions is slow, messy and hard to keep tidy — this I-join gives a crisp, uniform line straight off the roll of tape.

Genuinely strong bond. The pre-applied 3M VHB tape is a very high bond adhesive trusted for glass work, so the joint holds firm without screws or clamps.

Nearly invisible. Clear PVC between two clear panes keeps the partition looking like one continuous run of glass.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for an exact panel height, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check both panels are 12mm thick and measure the height of the joint.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your joint height — it is easy to trim down once it arrives.

3. Fit. Clean and dry both glass edges thoroughly, cut the seal to length, peel the red liner from one side and press it to the first panel, then peel the second liner and bring the panels together, pressing firmly along the full joint.
