90-Degree Join Seal - Fits 4-5mm Glass (6mm Tight Fit)

What this seal is

A clear 90-degree join seal for screens where two glass panels meet at a right angle. The rigid PVC U-section grips 4mm or 5mm glass without adhesive — it can also be fitted to 6mm glass, though the fit is very tight — and closes the vertical join between the two panes so water can't spray through the corner.

You'll most commonly find this seal on the vertical sections of a bath screen where the fixed panel and the folding panel meet at 90 degrees. The seal simply needs cutting around any hinges that hold the two panels of glass together.

Why fit this seal

Seals the corner join. The 90-degree gap where two panels meet is a favourite escape route for shower spray — this profile closes it along the full height and keeps the water inside the enclosure.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips the glass on its own — it pushes straight onto the panel edge and comes off cleanly when it's next due for replacement.

Works around your hinges. The seal cuts easily, so you can trim neat sections out around the hinges that hold the two panels together for a continuous-looking finish.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–5mm thick (6mm is a very tight fit), measure the height of the join and note the positions of any hinges.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Cut the seal to length and cut around the hinge positions, then push the U-section onto the glass edge so the seal closes the 90-degree join.
