What this seal is

A clear 90-degree join seal for bath screens where two glass panels meet at a right angle. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of 4–5mm glass with no adhesive, closing the vertical joint between the two panels so water cannot escape through the corner. It can also be fitted to 6mm glass, but the fit is very tight.

It fits on the vertical sections of the screen where the panels meet at 90 degrees, and simply needs cutting around any hinges that hold the two panels of glass together.

Why fit this seal

Seals the corner joint. The vertical join where two panels of a folding bath screen meet is a favourite escape route for water. This seal closes it off and keeps the floor dry.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 4–5mm glass on its own — it pushes straight on and comes off again without leaving residue.

Barely visible. The clear PVC all but disappears against the glass once fitted.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–5mm thick (6mm is a very tight fit) and measure the height of the join, noting the position of any hinges.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Cut the seal to length, cutting sections out around the hinges, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so it bridges the 90-degree join.
