Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Bulb Seal 11-16mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear replacement seal for bath screens and shower doors with 4–6mm glass. The high-quality rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass and grips 4mm, 5mm or 6mm glass comfortably with no need for any additional adhesive, while the soft flexible bubble along the bottom closes gaps of 11mm to 16mm — stopping water escaping every time you shower.

You'll most often find this seal on the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, but it works just as well fitted vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall. It is designed for straight glass only — though if yours is curved, we can help with that too (see below).

Choose your length

Measure the edge of glass you need to seal, then pick the nearest length at or above it — the seal cuts down easily at home for a neat edge-to-edge fit. Lengths of 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm and 2500mm are available, plus a custom cutting service if you'd rather it arrived ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks instantly. A worn, discoloured or missing bottom seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower or bath. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue on the glass.

Barely visible once fitted. The clear PVC lets your glass do the talking, while the flexible bubble compresses against the tray, bath or wall for a tight seal across any gap from 11mm to 16mm.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the length of the edge you're sealing, and measure the gap you need to close — this seal covers 11mm to 16mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement from the five available.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass so the bubble closes the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
