Shower Screen Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Seals 11-16mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear replacement seal for shower and bath screens with 6mm, 7mm or 8mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section pushes straight onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — and the soft flexible bubble at its base closes gaps of 11–16mm between the glass and your bath, tray or wall, stopping water escaping every time you shower.

It is most often fitted along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and works just as well vertically on the upright edge of the glass. Please note it will not grip 4–5mm glass — for thinner panels, see our seals for 4–6mm glass.

Choose your length

Measure the width of the panel (or the height of the upright for vertical fitting) and pick the nearest length at or above it — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm. If your measurement sits between two lengths, choose the longer one and trim it down, or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. A worn or missing seal lets water pool outside the screen — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 6–8mm glass on its own, so it pushes straight on and can be removed later without leaving residue on the glass.

Nearly invisible once fitted. The clear PVC blends into the glass, while the soft bubble compresses against the bath, tray or wall for a neat, watertight finish.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it for a perfect edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick and the gap you need to close is 11–16mm, then measure the edge you are sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal, clean the glass edge, trim the new seal to size and press the U-section onto the glass section by section — do not slide it along the edge.
