Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, 3mm Bubble Seal

What this seal is

A clear replacement seal for shower and bath screens with 4–6mm glass, made for the tightest of gaps. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass and grips comfortably on its own — no adhesive needed — while a soft flexible bubble along the bottom compresses to seal gaps of just 1mm to 3mm.

It’s most commonly fitted along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass to seal between the glass and the tiles or wall. Designed for straight glass only.

Why fit this seal

Seals the smallest gaps. Even a 1–3mm gap lets a surprising amount of water creep past the glass over a shower’s length. The soft bubble compresses into the gap and stops it at the source.

Gentle, cushioned contact. The bubble profile presses softly against the bath, tray, tiles or wall, sealing without forcing the glass or scraping as the door moves.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and comes off again without leaving residue, and the clear PVC is barely visible once fitted.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a neat edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the edge of the glass you’re sealing, and confirm the gap is between 1mm and 3mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass with the bubble facing the surface you’re sealing against. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
