Black Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Seals 15-20mm Gaps

What this seal is

A black shower screen seal for 4mm, 5mm or 6mm glass, closing gaps of 15mm to 20mm. The high-quality rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive, and the blade bridges the gap to stop water escaping every time you shower.

It is most commonly fitted horizontally along the bottom of a bath screen or shower door, and works just as well vertically on the upright edge of the glass to seal against tiles or a wall.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn or missing seal along the bottom of the screen is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it pushes straight on and can be removed without leaving residue on the glass.

Easy like-for-like replacement. Choose the nearest length above your measurement and cut it down at home, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the edge you need to seal, and check the gap is between 15mm and 20mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal and clean the glass edge, trim the new seal to length, then push the U-section onto the glass so the blade closes the gap.
