Black Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Seals 20-25mm Gaps

What this seal is

A black push-fit seal for bath screens and shower doors with 4–6mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section grips the edge of the glass on its own — no adhesive, no screws — and the flexible blade closes large gaps of 20mm to 25mm, stopping water escaping onto the bathroom floor while matching black-framed enclosures.

It is most commonly fitted along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and works just as well vertically on the glass upright to seal the gap between the glass and the tiles or wall.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn, split or missing seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the bath or shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from water damage.

Bridges a big gap. The blade covers gaps from 20mm right up to 25mm, so even a screen sitting well clear of the bath rim seals cleanly.

Matches black enclosures. Made in black to suit black-framed and matt-black enclosures — no mismatched clear strip against a dark frame.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the edge to be sealed and the gap you need to close (20–25mm).

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the seal onto the glass from one end and work your way along. Do not slide the seal along the glass, as this can damage it.
