Black Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Seals 5-10mm Gaps

What this seal is

A black shower screen seal for 4–6mm glass that closes gaps of 5mm to 10mm. The rigid PVC channel simply pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive, no screws, no drilling — and grips glass of 4mm, 5mm or 6mm on its own, while the soft sealing section closes the gap and keeps the water inside your enclosure.

It's most commonly fitted along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass, sealing between the glass and the tiles or wall. The black finish suits matt-black and dark-framed enclosures where a clear seal would look out of place.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn or missing bottom seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

Matches dark enclosures. Most replacement seals are clear — this black profile keeps the crisp lines of a black-framed screen instead of standing out against it.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the edge to be sealed, and check the gap you need to close is between 5mm and 10mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the seal faces the gap. Done — no tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
