Shower Screen Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Seals 16-20mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear bottom seal for shower doors and bath screens with 6mm, 7mm or 8mm glass. The rigid PVC channel pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — and the flexible fin closes gaps of 16mm to 20mm between the glass and the tray, bath or wall, stopping water escaping every time you shower.

It's most often fitted horizontally along the bottom edge of a bath screen or shower door, but works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks instantly. A worn, discoloured or missing bottom seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 6–8mm glass on its own; it slides straight on and comes off again without leaving residue.

Made for bigger gaps. With a fin covering 16–20mm, this profile handles the larger door-to-tray gaps a standard seal can't reach.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for an edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick and measure the gap you need to close — this profile suits 16–20mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your glass edge — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass with the fin facing the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
