Shower Screen Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Seals 4-8mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear replacement seal for shower screens and bath screens with 6–8mm glass. The rigid PVC U-channel pushes straight onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — and seals gaps of 4mm to 8mm between the glass and the bath, tray, tiles or wall, stopping water escaping every time you shower.

You’ll most often find this profile fitted horizontally along the bottom edge of a bath screen or shower door, but it works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass. It is designed for straight glass, and we also offer a curving service for curved screens.

Choose your length

Four lengths are available: 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm. Measure the edge of glass you’re sealing and pick the nearest length at or above it — the seal cuts down easily at home, or add the Custom Cut option and it arrives trimmed to your exact size.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. A worn or missing screen seal lets water pool on the floor, where it slowly damages flooring, skirting and plaster. Replacing it takes minutes.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick, measure the length of the edge to be sealed, and confirm the gap is between 4mm and 8mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the seal closes the gap. No adhesive, no drying time.
