I-Join Seal for 6mm Glass - Self-Adhesive 180 Degree Joint

What this seal is

A clear self-adhesive I-joint seal for joining two panels of 6mm glass in a straight line at 180°. Made from high-quality rigid PVC with 3M VHB (very high bond) tape pre-applied to both faces, it bonds directly to the glass — no silicone, no mess and no additional adhesive needed.

It is most commonly used on internal glass partitions, giving a neat, tidy junction between two panes and a far cleaner alternative to a wet silicone joint. Simply peel the backing and press the seal into place.

Choose your length

Available in 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm lengths, and easily cut down to size once received. If your joint sits between two sizes, order the next length up and trim it — or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Cleaner than silicone. No wet sealant, no smoothing, no curing time — the pre-applied tape gives a crisp, uniform joint between panels straight away.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check both panels are 6mm thick and measure the height of the joint you need to cover.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — it cuts down easily.

3. Fit. Clean and dry the glass edges, trim the seal to length, then peel the backing and press the seal firmly onto both panels.
