Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Seals 4-9mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear shower screen seal for 8–10mm glass that closes gaps of 4mm to 9mm. The rigid PVC U-section simply pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive, no screws — and the seal closes the gap between the glass and the tray, bath, tiles or wall.

You’ll most often find this profile along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, but it works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass, sealing against the tiles or wall.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks instantly. A worn, discoloured or missing screen seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower or bath — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue on the glass.

Neat fit for smaller gaps. Made for screens sitting just 4–9mm off the tray or wall, it closes the gap snugly without a bulky blade dragging on the tray.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for an exact fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, measure the length of the glass edge, and measure the gap you need to close (4–9mm).

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — it’s easy to trim down once it arrives.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass so the seal closes the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
