Black Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Seals 2-6mm Gaps

What this seal is

A black gap seal for shower doors and bath screens with thick 8–10mm glass, closing gaps of 2mm to 6mm. The rigid PVC U-channel pushes straight onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive at all, and the seal bridges the gap between the glass and your tray, bath, tiles or wall.

Black is the practical choice for matt-black and dark-framed enclosures where a clear seal would look out of place. Fit it along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, or vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn or missing seal is the most common reason water pools outside the shower. Replacing it protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

Matches black enclosures. Most replacement seals are clear; this black profile blends in with dark-framed and matt-black screens instead of standing out.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and comes off again without leaving residue.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick and measure the gap you need to close — it should be between 2mm and 6mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your glass edge — up to 2500mm — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the seal closes the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
