Black Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Seals 20-25mm Gaps

What this seal is

A black shower screen seal for 8–10mm glass that closes larger gaps of 20mm to 25mm. The rigid PVC channel simply pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive, no screws, no drilling — and grips glass of 8mm, 9mm or 10mm on its own, while the soft sealing section reaches across the gap and keeps the water inside your enclosure.

It's most commonly fitted along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass, sealing between the glass and the tiles or wall. The black finish suits matt-black and dark-framed enclosures where a clear seal would look out of place.

Why fit this seal

Closes gaps most seals can't. Few off-the-shelf seals will bridge a 20–25mm gap — this one is made for exactly that, so a door that hangs well clear of the tray or wall can still seal properly.

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn or missing seal on a gap this size lets a lot of water through. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick and confirm the gap you need to close is between 20mm and 25mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the seal faces the gap. Done — no tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
