Black Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, 16mm Bulb Seal

What this seal is

A black replacement seal for shower doors and bath screens with thicker 8–10mm glass. The rigid PVC U-channel pushes straight onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive, no screws, no drilling — and seals gaps of 11mm to 16mm between the glass and the tray, tiles or wall, stopping water escaping every time you shower.

You will most often find this profile along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, but it works just as well fitted vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall — and the black finish suits dark-framed enclosures.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects floors. A worn, discoloured or missing bottom seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

Made for heavy frameless glass. The channel is sized for 8–10mm glass, so it grips the thicker panes used on frameless doors and screens without adhesive.

Black to match your enclosure. A neat visual match for matt-black and dark-framed enclosures, where a clear or white seal would stand out.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, measure the edge you need to seal and confirm the gap to close is between 11mm and 16mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the seal closes the gap towards the tray, wall or tiles. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
