Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, 7-12mm Gaps, Profile 4

What this seal is

A clear replacement seal (Profile 4) for shower screens and doors with 8–10mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section pushes straight onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive required — and the fin closes gaps of 7mm to 12mm, stopping water escaping onto your bathroom floor every time you shower.

This profile is most often fitted along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and it works just as well vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the wall or tiles.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. A worn, split or missing seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own, so it pushes straight on and can be removed cleanly whenever it needs replacing.

Five lengths, up to 2.5m. With sizes from 800mm right up to 2500mm, one profile covers everything from a short bath screen to a full-height door upright.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, measure the edge you are sealing, and measure the gap you need to close (7–12mm).

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass starting at one end, with the fin facing the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
