Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Rigid 25mm Side Fin

What this seal is

A clear push-fit seal for shower and bath screens with 8–10mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section grips the edge of the glass on its own — no adhesive, no screws, no drilling — and the rigid side fin closes off the edge of the screen. It is most often fitted vertically on the upright edge of the glass, and can also be used along the bottom of a bath screen or shower door where there is no gap to bridge.

If your old seal has yellowed, split or dropped off, this is a straightforward like-for-like replacement — push it on and the screen is sealed again in minutes.

Why fit this seal

Stops water escaping. A worn or missing edge seal lets spray creep past the screen and onto the bathroom floor. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it pushes straight on and can be removed again without leaving any residue on the glass.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a neat edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick and measure the edge of the glass you need to seal.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass from one end, working your way along. Do not slide the seal along the glass.
