I-Join Seal for 8mm Glass - Self-Adhesive 180 Degree Joint

What this joint seal is

A clear self-adhesive I-join seal for joining two panels of 8mm glass together at 180° — most commonly on internal glass partitions. It offers an easier, cleaner alternative to silicone: no wet trades, no curing time, no smeared joints.

The rigid PVC section arrives with 3M VHB (very high bond) self-adhesive backing on both sides, so it bonds straight to both glass edges with no additional adhesive needed.

Choose your length

Five lengths are available — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm and 2500mm. Pick the length at or just above the height of your joint; the seal trims down easily at home, or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this joint seal

Cleaner than silicone. A crisp, uniform PVC joint instead of a smeared bead — no masking, no wet mess, no waiting for it to cure.

Very high bond, straight from the pack. The pre-applied 3M VHB tape grips both panels firmly — peel, press and the joint is made.

Neat, barely-there finish. The clear profile keeps the sight line through your partition clean while holding the two panels in line.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for an exact fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check both panels are 8mm thick and measure the height of the joint.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your joint — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length, clean and dry both glass edges, then peel the backing and press the seal onto the first panel before bringing the second panel firmly against the other adhesive face.
