T-Slot Carrier Seal for 8mm Glass - T Depths 6-27mm

What this seal is

A clear carrier seal for shower and bath screens with 8mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section grips the edge of the glass with no additional adhesive, and a separate “T” seal slots into its channel to close the gap — simply choose the T seal depth you need from the options above.

Seals like this are most commonly found along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and work just as well vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall.

Choose your T seal depth

Measure the gap between the bottom of the glass and the tray, bath or wall, then pick the T seal depth that suits it — 6mm, 13mm, 17mm, 22mm or 27mm. If your gap sits between two depths, choose the deeper T seal — the flexible blade compresses to give a tighter seal.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. A worn or missing seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term damage.

Replace the wearing part, keep the carrier. Because the T seal slots into the channel, a future replacement can be as simple as sliding in a new T seal rather than changing the whole profile.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8mm glass on its own, so it pushes straight on and can be removed later without leaving residue on the glass.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8mm thick, measure the gap you need to close and the edge of the glass you are sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the T seal depth that suits your gap and the nearest length at or above your measurement.

3. Fit. Remove the old seal, clean the glass edge, trim the new seal to size, push the U-section onto the glass and slide the T seal into the channel.
