Self-Adhesive Shower Seal Carrier - VHB Tape, 5mm+ Glass

What this seal is

A clear self-adhesive carrier channel that lets you fit a shower seal where a standard push-on seal will not work. It sticks to any flat surface — glass, tiles and more — using its double-sided 3M VHB tape, and a T-shaped channel seal then slides into the groove to close the gap.

On glass it suits thicknesses of 5mm and above. It is commonly used along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, and can also be fitted vertically on the upright of the glass.

Why fit this seal

Seals where nothing else will. If the glass edge is inaccessible, oddly finished or already carrying hardware, a push-on channel is not an option — this carrier sticks to any flat surface and gives you a proper channel for a T seal.

Serious adhesive. The double-sided 3M VHB tape bonds strongly to glass and tiles — no screws, no drilling and no silicone mess.

Replaceable sealing blade. Because the T seal simply slides into the groove, you can renew the wiping blade in the future without disturbing the taped carrier.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the edge you need to seal and check the surface you are sticking to is flat (glass of 5mm or thicker, tiles, etc.).

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm — plus a matching T seal if you do not already have one.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, clean and dry the surface thoroughly, peel the backing from the VHB tape and press the carrier firmly into place, then slide your T seal into the groove.
