Self-Adhesive Carrier & T Seal - VHB Tape, 5mm+ Glass

What this seal is

A self-adhesive carrier seal for the awkward spots where a standard push-on seal won't work. The clear channel sticks to any flat surface — glass, tiles and more — using the 3M VHB double-sided tape supplied on the back, and a "T" shaped seal then slides into the groove to close the gap with its 19mm wiping blade.

It suits glass from 5mm thick upwards and is most often used along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, or vertically on the upright of the glass. Suitable for straight glass only.

Why fit this seal

Seals where nothing else will. Because it sticks down rather than gripping the glass edge, this carrier lets you run a T seal across tiles, panels or glass where a standard U-channel seal simply cannot be used.

Serious adhesive, no screws. 3M VHB tape is a genuine high-bond tape — press the channel onto a clean, flat surface and it stays put, with no drilling and no visible fixings.

Swappable T seals. The wiping seal slides into the groove, so when it eventually wears you replace just the T seal — the stuck-down carrier stays where it is.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the run you need to seal and the gap you need to close, and check the surface you are sticking to is flat.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement, or have us cut it to size for you.

3. Fit. Clean and dry the surface thoroughly, trim the channel to length, peel the red VHB backing and press the carrier firmly into place, then slide your chosen T seal into the groove.
